Why is the City holding a workshop about land use alternatives?
Land use is the centerpiece of the City’s General Plan! Land use describes the intended future use and density of every parcel in the City, such as residential, commercial, or mixed-use. What will be discussed at the workshop?
The workshop will include a summary of the General Plan update process, review of the guiding principles, areas of change and stability that was developed from the past 18 months of community input, and present three different land use approaches for managing the future growth of the City.
